Microsoft will soon encourage users to update to Internet Explorer 8. According to this article, the third week of April is when Microsoft will trigger auto-update to check for the new version of the browser.
This is a very exciting step forward for the browser, because it finally makes it compliant with typical web design standards. That means designers and developers can finally stop worrying about how to make sites work in both IE and the other modern browsers.
So PC users, give web designers and developers around the world a break and update to Explorer 8. You can download it from Microsoft here.
