Whoa. Techlust.
Muse - Hysteria
Definitely one of the hardest-rocking live bands I’ve ever seen. If you get the chance, go.
“Sandwiches”
Standup Comedy from Mitch Hedberg
From the album Mitch All Together
“This club is formed.”
“Beret and Pancakes”
Standup comedy from the late Mitch Hedberg.
From his live album “Strategic Grill Locations”
“One day, you can bet your ass, I will have a beret on.”
“A snakebite emergency repair kit is a body bag.”
My Mac Mini Media Center/No Cable Plan
Here’s my plan.
1. Get a new mac mini
2. Put it in my living room
3. Hook it up to my stereo
4. Hook it up to my TV as its monitor (mini-DVI to DVI, I think)
5. Transfer all my music, photos and movies to it
6. Set up my laptop to recognize that as my new home for all that data (to sync wirelessly)
(6b. Maybe set it up to run Time Machine, perhaps adding an external as needed.)
7. Install Boxee
8. Hook up a digital antenna
9. Cancel cable TV
Consoler Of The Lonely
by The Raconteurs
Album: Consolers Of The Lonely, 2008
Rage Against The Machine
“Township Rebellion”
From their debut, self-titled album.
DiscoTech vs Radiohead - Everything in its Right Place (Gigamesh / DiscoTech Remix)
Here’s something I just found—Tumbltape!
It can turn all your audio posts into one playlist, sorta like muxtape used to.
A reggae version of Radiohead’s “Climbing Up The Walls”
From the album Radiodread, by the Easy Star All-Stars.
“I am the key to the lock in your house
That keeps your toys in the basement”
The Black Keys
“The Lengths”
Track 7 on the album Rubber Factory
New $1,000 Harmon Kardon desktop speakers.
From the Wired review:
“…when you’re commanding a full G-unit for a pair of desktop speakers, they better be damn near pitch perfect — especially when they’re this ugly. The fact of the matter is you can still buy a comparable desktop system for nearly a 10th of the price, or a very decent home theater in a box.”
