Facebook using your face in their ads.
Bet you didn’t know you signed on for this.
Facebook has agreed to let a third party advertisers use your posted pictures without your permission.Click on SETTINGS up at the top where you see the log out link. Select PRIVACY. Then select NEWS FEEDS AND WALL. Next select the tab that reads FACE BOOK ADS. There is a drop down box, select NO ONE. Then SAVE your changes. (via @chrisdimare)
Good to know. Time to go adjust some settings.
Just when you thought Microsoft’s ads couldn’t get any worse…
(Yes, this is real. And apparently, they spent a ton of money on it.)

In other words, Facebook will soon be another spam factory, just like MySpace. Mark my words, between the massive rejection of the new design, and changes like these, the exodus is coming!

Twitter ads coming soon?
The small box that was used for promoting the search feature or other native improvements is being used to advertise other Twitter-related applications and services. Will paid ads soon fill that same space? I can tolerate a few ads, but how far is too far?
