photo Is Adobe starting to drop Flash with the release of Mac OS X 10.7?
On their known issue page, the Flash Builder and Flash Catalyst products are not being updated, which can only mean they are discontinued. Maybe they aren’t bailing on Flash completely, but it’s a signal that their newest Flash-based web builder products are being abandoned for future development. Maybe Adobe sees the HTML5 on the wall.

Adobe CS2 to be devoured by OS X Lion

As noted by Adobe, Creative Suite 2 will be devoured by the Lion:

Rosetta support no longer included with Lion

CS2 or earlier versions of Adobe products required Rosetta to run on newer Intel based mac systems. These older versions will no longer be supported as Apple removed Rosetta support with the 10.7 release.

(On the positive side, you’ll enjoy some dramatic improvements when you pay up and jump to the new CS 5.5)

link Adobe is playing hardball now.

Adobe announced they are not updating Creative Suite 3 to be compatible with Snow Leopard. That leaves those of us ready to upgrade to SL with little choice but to also upgrade to the new Creative Suite 4. Kinda sucks, actually.

photo Adobe released a small Photoshop CS4 update that corrects a number of bugs. If you upgraded to CS4, this is an update to make!
(I still have yet to be convinced it’s worth it.)
Click here for the Macintosh version of the update.
Click here for the Windows version of the update.
If you install it, let me know if it makes a difference!

Going programmer nerdy here, but this could usher in some cool stuff like new Rich Internet Applications and other high-quality streamed media.
